Terci said, “If this is achieved, it will make an additional contribution of 70-75 million dollars to our exports. As the cereals, pulses and oilseeds sector, we will leave behind the year 2021 with an export of around 8.5 billion dollars. Our target for 2022 is to reach 10 billion dollars of exports.

“There is a problem of logistics supply. In order to our exports to reach the desired level, it is very important for Turkey to invest in this field and solve these problems. On the other hand, there is the reality of climate change, which is closely related to our industry. Efforts to reduce and adapt to climate change should work together,” Terci added.

2021 TARGET 600 MILLION DOLLARS…

“In the January-September period of 2021, we carried our exports above Turkey’s rate of rise and increased by 22 percent from 390 million dollars to 477 million dollars. We are in a position to easily exceed the export figure. We are happy to raise our target for the end of 2021 to 600 million dollars upwards. I would like to thank all our members and their employees who contributed to this surge,” Terci concluded…
