Türkiye’s ice cream exports reach 23.5 million dollars in four months…

Türkiye achieved 23.5 million dollars in ice cream exports in the first four months of this year, with Iraq, the USA, Northern Cyprus, Kosovo and Kazakhstan being the leading markets for exports.

According to a compilation by an Anatolian Agency (AA) correspondent based on data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) for “World Ice Cream Day” on July 19th, significant capacity has been reached in ice cream production in the country, thanks to the production infrastructure and advanced processing industry in 919 ice cream manufacturing facilities.

Türkiye’s milk and dairy product exports totaled 523 million dollars last year. Ice cream exports accounted for approximately 13.9 percent of total milk and dairy product exports. During the same period, ice cream imports remained at 12.7 million dollars, making the country a net exporter of ice cream.

Last year, the top countries for ice cream exports included Iraq, the USA, Northern Cyprus, Kosovo and Kazakhstan. Exports totaling 23.5 million dollars in the first four months of this year demonstrate the continued demand in international markets…
