Türkiye’s egg exports rose by 54 percent in the January–September period this year compared with the same period last year, reaching 418,676,000 dollars.

According to information compiled by an Anatolian Agency (AA) correspondent from data provided by the Aegean Exporters’ Associations, the country’’s exports of animal products (excluding seafood) totalled 1,275,293,000 dollars for the January–September period, corresponding to shipments of 667,143 tonnes.
During this period, the egg sector took the top spot in animal product exports. Having recorded exports worth 271 million 430 thousand dollars in the first nine months of last year, the sector ramped up its exports by 54 percent in the same period this year, rising to 418 million 676 thousand dollars.
