The country importing the most seedless raisins from Türkiye was the UK with 117 million dollars, while the Netherlands was the top importing partner with a demand of 48.5 million dollars. Germany imported 38.4 million dollars worth of Turkish grapes and ranked third, while we exported 35 million dollars worth of sultanas to Italy and 25 million dollars worth to France.

Following the TURQUALITY Project named Turkish Tastes, which has been carried out by 6 food associations within the Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EIB) for 6 years to boost the market share of Turkish food products in the US market, the USA became the leader in dried apricot and dried fig exports. In the 2024/25 season, dried apricot exports to the USA between 1 August 2024 and 3 May 2025 reached 56.4 million dollars.
France imported 26 million dollars and Germany 25 million dollars worth of Turkish dried apricots, followed by Australia with 14 million dollars and the UK with 12.5 million dollars.
The United States of America ramped up its demand for Turkish dried figs by 48 percent from 43 million to 64 million dollars and consolidated its place at the top. France, one of the country’s traditional dried fig export markets, ranked second with 35.3 million dollars worth of dried fig imports, while Germany took the third place with 34 million dollars.
