DOUBLE AWARD FOR TURKISH FOOD PRODUCTS FROM THE RUSSIAN PEOPLE…
In Russia, one of Türkiye’s most important export markets, the promotional campaigns for ‘Turkish Fresh Fruit and Vegetables’ and ‘Turkish Bulgur’ carried out under the Ministry of Trade’s Turquality support programme were awarded in the ‘Modern Legends’ category.
As part of the 50 Legendary Brands Awards organised by Komsomolskaya Pravda, one of Russia’s leading media organisations celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, 165 institutions and organisations’ promotional campaigns were put to a vote by the Russian people. Following the evaluation, the 50 Legendary Brands were announced at a special ceremony held in Moscow’s famous Red Square. In the ‘Modern Legends’ category of the competition, the Turkish Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Products Promotion Campaign and the Turkish Bulgur Promotion Campaign won awards.
The award for the Turkish Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Promotion Campaign was received by Ali Kavak, Member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) and Chairman of the Turkish Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters Association Sector Board along with the award for the Turkish Bulgur Promotion Campaign was received by Veysel Memiş, Member of the Sector Board of the Turkish Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Products Exporters’ Associations and Chairman of the Mediterranean Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Products Exporters’ Association (AHBİB).
The ceremony, which was also attended by Mustafa Gökhan Soylu, Member of the Board of Directors of the Mediterranean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association, Selçuk Akıllı, Vice President of AHBİB, and Şahin Sayılır, Member of the Board of Directors, was also attended by Günhan Ersoy, Chargé d’Affaires of the Turkish Embassy in Moscow, Çiğdem Şamiloğlu Erkoç, Commercial Counsellor in Moscow, Moscow Trade Counsellor Ahmet Onur Öztürk and Hacı Murat Terzi, Moscow Communications Counsellor of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, also attended the ceremony…
