TÜMOSAN Motor and Tractor Industry Inc., (operating in Konya province) General Manager Halim Tosun said that Turkey has directed towards domestic market while attaching importance to agriculture.
Stating that TÜMOSAN, producing approximately 200 models between 50 hp and 105 hp within tractor group, has boosted its sales by 113 percent in April-September period compared to last year, Halim Tosun said, “As for Turkish market in total, a growth of 117 percent experienced this year.”
While sharing the information about machinery production in the agricultural field and the defense industry, Halim Tosun noted that they expect a growth of 55-60 percent at the end of this year.
Pointing out that they have carried their experience and success in the field of agriculture to the defense industry, Halim Tosun added, “TÜMOSAN, which has achieved important and ongoing successes in the tractor sector, has been rapidly continuing its work in important projects within defense industry in recent years.”
