Turkish seed companies and officials of Iran held a twinning meeting in which 28 seed companies from Turkey participated with Iranian counterparts.
The opening speeches of the meeting were made by TSÜAB Chairman Dr. Ahmet Yılmaz, Deputy Director General of Crop Production of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Suat Yilmaz and Abbas Keshavarz Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Iran.
The main issue highlighted in the speeches was the importance of mutual trade between the two countries.
After the opening speeches, TSÜAB Secretary General Assoc. Dr. Hamit Ayanoğlu and Iran Seed Certification Manager Samad Mobasser made presentations on the Seed Sectors of the two countries.
A protocol of goodwill was signed between TSÜAB Secretary General Assoc. Dr. Hamid Ayanoğlu and Iran Seed Growers Association Secretary-General Sirvanzadeh Ardalan for mutual cooperation.
Within the framework of the field visits of the program, Iran Seed and Plant Certification and Registration Institute and Pishro Kesht Alborz company were visited and also detailed information about production, registration and certification processes discussed between two parts.
