The post pointed out that truffles are the hidden treasure of the green homeland, stating, ‘Truffles, our natural wealth, both support our biological diversity and contribute to rural development and our economy.’
The post noted that 1,212 hectares of truffle forests have been established in Türkiye.
The statement noted that 79 tonnes of truffles were produced in 2024, adding, ‘This contributed 650 million lira to the national economy. 5,750 people were trained in truffle harvesting and awareness-raising.’
