Ali Hüddoğlu, Head of the Alanya Tropical Fruit Producers Association, announced that tropical fruit production areas are expanding rapidly.

Explaining that bananas and avocados have become the main products in the district, Hüddoğlu said, “The variety of tropical products is also increasing every year. Over the past 20 years, tropical products have been diversified and we have reached a point where we produce over 40 types of tropical fruits. This production capacity is surging rapidly every day. We growers never tire of producing them. We do our work with passion.”
Highlighting that they have achieved self-sufficiency in bananas and avocados, he added, “In addition to our main crops of bananas and avocados, dragon fruit, mango, passion fruit and papaya are also on the way. We are even producing coffee in Alanya region now. Production of other tropical fruits is also surging.”
