ONE OF THE WORLD’S LARGEST HAZELNUT DRYING FACILITIES ESTABLISHED IN AZERBAIJAN…

Agrarco is launching a new state-of-the-art hazelnut processing plant in Zaqatala region of Azerbaijan equipped with innovative technological solutions from industry leading companies. It is one of the largest hazelnut processing facilities in the world with an annual production capacity estimated to be around 7000 tons of hazelnuts (kernel basis) and a daily processing capacity of roughly 20 tons. Annual in-shell drying capacity is estimated to be over 20,000 tons. The facilities include features like climate controlled warehouses with over 2500 tons of storage capacity. 

In an effort to become the nationwide leader in fostering industry-specific education, Agrarco is also integrating training centers for farmers into its plant. 

Every aspect of the hazelnut production flow on the new plant will be controlled and will meet the highest international standards for food processing. Agrarco is currently undergoing all the necessary preparations for the audit to be certified according to FSSC22000 Food Safety Management system by Swiss company SGS.

Upon successful completion of the testing period, the plant will be ready for launch at the beginning of the next hazelnut season.
