While Türkiye exported 1 million tonnes of pasta in 9 months of the year and earned 678 million dollars, it was reported that the country has the capacity to export at least 1 million tonnes more pasta per year.
Nihat Uysallı, Head of Turkish Pasta Industrialists’ Association (MÜSAD) said, “If we can find the opportunity to enter new markets, we believe that we can ramp up our share in global trade from 6 percent to 10 percent.”
At the end of 9 months of the year, Türkiye’s total pasta exports reached 1 million tonnes, while pasta export revenues reached 678 million dollars.
