Nedim Kalpaklıoğlu, Member of the Board of the Aegean Fisheries and Animal Products Exporters’ Association, said that the beekeeping sector, especially pine honey, has suffered heavy losses in the forest fire disasters that have taken place in the Aegean Region in the recent period in our country.
Kalpaklıoğlu said, “Therefore, it is important to authorize our Association to spend from the reserve fund account in order to compensate, at least to some extent, the losses faced by our producers, to provide the needs such as hives, equipment, food, etc. and to meet the losses of the sector immediately.”
