Turkish Organic Sector Takes a Major Step Towards 2 Billion Dollars Export Target…

The Turkish organic sector made a strong showing at the Nuremberg BIOFACH 2026 Organic Products Fair, the world’s largest organic product fair, with 41 companies.
The Turkish organic sector showcased its potential to gain a larger share of the rising demand for organic products in Europe and around the world, taking a significant step towards achieving its 2 billion dollars export target.
At the BIOFACH 2026 Organic Products Fair, organized for the 28th time this year by the Aegean Exporters’ Associations, Turkish companies presented the diversity and competitiveness of the Turkish organic sector to international professionals with their product groups including dried fruits, cereals, pulses, fruit juices, frozen fruits and vegetables, nuts along with healthy snacks.

Mehmet Ali Işık, the Sustainability and Organic Products Coordinator of the Aegean Exporters’ Associations and Chair of the Aegean Dried Fruit and Products Exporters’ Association, stated that they have been organizing the Turkish National Participation at the BIOFACH 2026 Organic Products Fair for over 25 years to strongly promote the Turkish organic sector.
Emphasizing that today, the Turkish organic sector has become one of the strongest suppliers in the world with more than 250 product varieties, Işık added, “We are strong suppliers in leading markets for organic product consumption, primarily the European Union, the United States and Japan.”
