Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EIB) brought together Trade Counsellors who served in 9 different target countries with companies on 22 November in order to inform them about the methods of entering target markets and to have a direct idea about the business culture and foreign trade legislation in the markets.

Jak Eskinazi, Coordinator Chair of the Aegean Exporters’ Associations, said: “Our Trade Counsellors who have returned from duty have been transferring their experiences to our exporters one-to-one in the format of bilateral meetings for about 7 years. We plan to continue these meetings in the coming period. In 2028, we need to diversify our export markets to reach our target of 375 billion dollars of goods exports.”
“The 9 countries where our trade counsellors we invited this year have a share of 12 per cent of Türkiye’s total exports. With such events, we aim to ramp up the share we get from the imports of these countries,” he added…
