Harvest has started in Antalya’s Döşemealtı district, where 25 percent of Türkiye’s pomegranate needs are met.
Turgay Genç, Mayor of Döşemealtı, who participated in the harvest, said, “90 percent of the 30-40 thousand tonnes of pomegranate harvested is exported to Europe and the Middle East. It put a smile on the face of our producers in terms of yield and price.”
