The Union of Hazelnut Agricultural Sales Cooperatives (FİSKOBİRLİK) invited all hazelnut producers to become partners and give their products to the Union during this purchase season.
In a written statement from FİSKOBİRLİK, it was reported that the Union’s Central and Eastern Black Sea Cooperatives Consultation Meeting was held.
At the meeting, it was stated that a decision made to provide better service to the producers with partnership in the upcoming hazelnut season and alos to make decisions regarding hazelnut producers’ favouring FİSKOBİRLİK.
In the statement, it was emphasized that all kinds of measures were taken to ensure that FİSKOBİRLİK and its affiliates are ready for the 2020 purchasing season and that hazelnut producers in the region are not victimized.
It was declared that all hazelnut producers are believed not to leave FİSKOBİRLİK alone, which is ready for the purchase period with all its staff.
The statement concluded as follows: “There is no obstacle for our hazelnut producers to be a partner of FİSKOBİRLİK who meet the conditions specified in the laws, articles of union and regulations. Each partner, who is a partner of our cooperatives and gives 100 kilograms of declaration and delivers half of this, that is, 50 kilograms of hazelnuts, to the cooperative to which he is a member has the right of being elected or to elect. In this context, we invite all hazelnut producers to become partners of FİSKOBİRLİK and give their products during the hazelnut purchase period in 2020.”
