“FISH OIL AND FISHMEAL TO PROVIDE MUCH MORE ADDED VALUE”

Eastern Black Sea Exporters’ Association (DKİB) Board member and Fisheries Sector Committee Chairperson Ismail Kobya said that Turkey’s fisheries and aquatic products have a significant potential in exports.

Emphasizing that the exports of fish oil and fish meal, which are among the seafood products, have showed an improvement every year, Kobya said, “The export in question increased by 57 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.”

Kobya also underlined that the diversity of the country has increased in addition to its export potential and added, “We believe that fish oil and fishmeal exports will provide much more added value to the country in the future.”
