Another Geographical Indication Registration Success by Aydın Commodity Exchange!
Aydın Commodity Exchange Chairman of the Board of Directors Fevzi Çondur emphasised that their work on the branding of agricultural products specific to Aydın has always yielded concrete and successful results. Stating that they have carried out exemplary works in geographical indication applications made in the European Union and throughout Türkiye, Çondur made important statements regarding the EU registration process of Aydın Pine Pistachio in this context.
Pointing out that they are determinedly continuing their European Union geographical indication studies with the aim of promoting and protecting the agricultural values of Aydın province in the international market, Çondur said, “Our Commodity Exchange, which has achieved significant success by providing the registration of Aydın Chestnut, Aydın Memecik Olive Oil and Aydın Memecik Olive in the European Union, has now added a new one to the exemplary work in this field by realising the EU registration of Aydın Pine Pistachio.”
