The General Directorate of Tea Enterprises (ÇAYKUR) purchased 179 thousand tons of fresh tea in the third offshoot. It was stated that 699 thousand tons of tea has been purchased throughout the campaign.
The General Directorate of Tea Enterprises (ÇAYKUR) purchased 179 thousand tons of fresh tea in the third offshoot.
In a written statement made by ÇAYKUR, it was stated that the third shoot purchases that started on September 1 are continuing.
In the statement, it was reported that 179 thousand tons of fresh tea has been purchased in the third offshoot so far and 699 thousand tons of tea has been purchased throughout the campaign.
On the other hand, it was also reported that 297 million TL will be paid to the producers in exchange for 91 thousand tons of fresh tea purchased in August and the payments will be completed within 2 days starting from 29 September.
Lastly it was noted that 16 million liras, the difference of organic fresh tea purchased in July, paid on September 30.
