Asia-Pasific Countries Seed Congress to be held in Antalya-Türkiye…

Press release…

Thanks to your support, our Association is experiencing one of its most successful periods in the seed sector. Founded 40 years ago on solid foundations and principles, our Association has achieved two more significant milestones in its 41st year.

We made significant contributions, together with Sub-Union of Seed Industrialists and Producers (TSÜAB), to the highly successful ISF Congress in Istanbul from May 19-21, 2025. Following the ISF Congress, organized by Türkiye Seed Industry Association (TÜRKTED) in Türkiye for the first time in 2009, TÜRKTED and TSÜAB played a leading role in the 2025 congress.

The Asia Pacific Countries Seed Growers Association Congress, one of the firsts TÜRKTED has ever organized, will be organized for the first time in Türkiye, in Antalya, in collaboration with Turkish Seed Growers Association (TÜRKTOB), from December 1-5, 2026. The preparations we initiated in 2019 bore fruit and our candidacy was accepted at the 2024 ASC 2024 congress held in Sanya, People’s Republic of China.

In 2025, TÜRKTED and TÜRKTOB delegations meticulously worked on technical and administrative matters. We proudly accepted the flag, together with TÜRKTOB, on behalf of our country and the seed sector at the ASC 2025 congress held in Mumbai, India, from November 17-21.

Next year, we will hold one of APSA’s most successful congresses in Antalya. There is already significant interest in our congress. With over 100 seed companies located in Antalya province, Antalya has emerged as the most suitable location for our seedling, sapling and ornamental plant sectors. With your support, we will achieve very successful results from this congress.

Sincerely,
TÜRKTED Board of Directors
