Aegean Exporters’ Associations, which reached its year-end export target of 15 billion dollars 5 months in advance with its export strategy based on digitalization, R&D, sustainability, design and innovation, exported to 202 different markets in the January-September period.
Aegean Exporters’ Associations Coordinator Chair Jak Eskinazi said, “We have an export of 15 billion 525 million dollars with an increase of 21 percent in the last 12 months. Our new goal is to bring in 16 billion dollars in 2021 and 18 billion dollars in 2022. In the January-September period, we realized an export of 11 billion 821 million dollars with a rise of 27 percent. Our agricultural exports surged by 10 percent to 4 billion 6 million dollars, our industrial exports increased by 41 percent to 7 billion 14 million dollars and the exports of our mining sector grew by 18 percent to 799 million dollars. In the January-September period, we exported to 202 countries and regions. We boosted our exports to 155 countries and regions.”

Eskinazi said that they made an export of 5 billion 475 million dollars with an increase of 30 percent to the European Union, which is the traditional trade partner of the EİB and which sets the ‘climate justice agenda’.
“We exported 912 million dollars to other European countries with an increase of 33 percent. Thus, the share of the European continent in our exports rose to 54 percent. In the 9-month period, we exported 1 billion 361 million dollars to the American countries, where we experienced the highest increase of 42 percent and 1 billion 227 million dollars to the Middle East countries. In 2021, we expanded our export share to our target markets Asia and Oceania to 903 million dollars with 39 percent,” Eskinazi added…
