Hayrettin Uçak, Chair of the Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters Association, conveys the message for 2026: “We will take our export structure to a more efficient point with new projects that we will add to this accumulated experience.”


In his New Year’s message, Muhammet Öztürk, Chair of the Aegean Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Products Exporters Association, highlights the contributions of the more than 8,000 exporters within the Aegean Exporters Association, stating, “The contributions of our members make it possible for the region’s exports to develop sustainably.

The Aegean Dried Fruit and Products Exporters Association, the leader in dried fruit exports in Türkiye, has achieved great success in the American and Far Eastern markets in the last 10 years. Mehmet Ali Işık, Chair of the Aegean Dried Fruit and Products Exporters Association, hints at their efforts to extend this success to the entire Aegean Exporters Association in his 2026 message; “Steps that strengthen market diversification will be among our priorities throughout the year.”
The Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EIB), the first exporter association in Türkiye to become a member of GlobalGAP, the world’s largest sustainability initiative, pledges that sustainability and innovative practices will remain their priorities in 2026. Ali Fuat Gürle, Chair of the Aegean Furniture, Paper and Forestry Products Exporters’ Association, says, “Sustainable and innovative practices will continue to be the fundamental approach of all our processes.”


Sustainable and innovative practices make our exporters more competitive in the international arena, enabling us to strongly overcome a significant hurdle in the export of value-added products. Bedri Girit, Chair of the Aegean Seafood and Animal Products Exporters’ Association, emphasizes innovative practices, stating, “This approach will not only increase the competitiveness of our exports, but also their capacity to generate more value,” thus outlining a vision for exporters in 2026.

One of the priorities of the Aegean Exporters’ Associations, which generated 18.5 billion dollars in foreign exchange earnings in 2025 by exporting the country’s products to all corners of the world, is to boost employment and contribute to social peace. Emre Uygun, Chair of the Aegean Olive and Olive Oil Exporters’ Association; “We hope these opportunities will have a positive impact on production, employment, and our country’s foreign trade” and underlined their goal of increasing employment in 2026.

Tobacco, one of Türkiye’s traditional export sectors, celebrated exceeding the 1 billion dollars in 2025. Ömer Celal Umur, Chair of the Aegean Tobacco Exporters Association, emphasized in his New Year’s message that they aim for an even stronger year in exports in 2026.
İşbırakmaz: “Our business is production, our power is exports”

Cumhur İşbırakmaz, Secretary General of the Aegean Exporters Associations, concludes the association’s 2026 expectations by saying, “We will continue to grow through exports in the new year; our business is production, our power is exports.”
