Sütaş has reached an agreement to acquire the remaining 50 percent stake held by the Nishat Group in its Pakistan dairy and dairy products investment, which began with a partnership established in 2018 with the Nishat Group.
Sütaş is taking a new step in its investment in line with its confidence in the potential of the Pakistani dairy sector and the long-term growth opportunities in the country. An agreement has been reached to acquire all of the shares held by the Nishat Group in Nishat Sütaş Dairy Limited, a 50-50 joint venture established with the Nishat Group in 2018. The transaction is expected to be completed after obtaining the necessary approvals and signing the final contracts. Following the completion of the share transfer, the dairy and dairy products production facility in Faisalabad and operations under the Milkfields brand will continue under Sütaş management.
Sütaş Chairman of the Board Muharrem Yılmaz, in his assessment of their activities in Pakistan, stated:
