Yüksel Akgöl was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the 2021 Ordinary Elective General Assembly Meeting of the Mediterranean Fisheries and Animal Products Exporters’ Association (ASHİB), a member of the Mediterranean Exporters’ Associations (AKİB).

Yüksel Akgöl, the new Chairman of ASHİB’s Board of Directors, thanked Huriye Yamanyılmaz and the members of the board of directors, who have been serving the Mediterranean animal food exporters for 4 years, for their work and said that they will make an effort to raise the service flag higher in the new period.

‘The Arabian Peninsula and Africa will be our target markets’

Reminding that ASHİB has achieved an export of 524.8 million dollars in 2021 with an increase of 81.63 percent compared to the previous year, Akgöl said, “We offer a wide range of products from seafood to poultry and eggs, from honey to dairy products, from red meat products to offal. We will continue our efforts uninterruptedly to further increase the efficiency of our sector, which responds to the need for meal nutrition, in global markets.”

“By adding new ones to our activities in the United Arab Emirates market, we will accelerate our logistics base establishment projects in the African Continent. I believe that we will reach our goals as soon as possible with the knowledge and experience of our elder brother Ali Can Yamanyılmaz, who will continue his duty as the Vice President in the new term and with the enthusiasm of our board members,” he added…
