August 2026…

Press release…

Poyraz Olive Oil, which continues to promote Turkish olive oil in different markets around the world, participated in the APAS Show 2026 held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and made contacts for new collaborations targeting the Latin American market.

Poyraz Olive Oils brought Turkish olive oil together with Latin American buyers at the APAS Show 2026, considered one of the largest food and beverage events in the Americas. The fair, held at the Sao Paulo Expo Centre Norte, brought together food retailers, supermarket chains, suppliers and industry professionals and Poyraz Olive Oils strengthened its growth targets for the Latin American market at the fair.

Poyraz Sets Higher Targets in Latin America…

Ali Özpoyraz, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Poyraz Olive Oils, stated that Brazil is a central country in South American trade, and that Sao Paulo is one of the strongest centres of this trade.

Pointing out that they received significant interest not only from different states of Brazil but also from Argentina, Venezuela and Chile, he said, “Brazil is an extremely strategic country for brands wanting to open up to the South American market. As Poyraz Olive Oils, we are currently working with 2 main suppliers in the region. In the coming period, we aim to enhance the number of wholesalers to 4 regions and reach a total of 1.5 million bottles of packaged olive oil sales in South America.”

Özpoyraz: “We established over 40 direct contacts”

Highlighting that APAS Show 2026 was productive for Poyraz Olive Oils and they had the opportunity to directly meet with industry professionals from all over the region at the fair, Özpoyraz noted, “We established over 40 new contacts at the fair and we saw that the Latin American market’s interest in Turkish olive oil is quite conscious. Visitors are not only focused on price; they prioritize product quality and consistency.”

“A Year of Opportunity for Turkish Olive Oil”

Ali Özpoyraz, reminding that Poyraz Olive Oil exports to over 60 countries, underlined that they ensure uninterrupted exports to different markets with their quality certifications and sustainable supply chain.

Explaining that the abundant rainfall and flowering of the trees throughout the year indicate that this season’s harvest will be in high tonnages, he added, “We believe that domestic demand will be easily met and we will experience a stronger period in international markets with our price competitiveness and service quality. We also believe that the 2026-2027 season will be a significant year of opportunity for both the Poyraz brand and the Turkish olive oil sector.”
