25–28 May 2026 | FAO Headquarters, Rome – and online…
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the World Food Programme (WFP), with support from the UN-Nutrition Secretariat, together with the leadership from a multi-country Steering Committee, will host Rome Nutrition Week 2026 (RNW26) from 25 to 28 May at FAO Headquarters and online.
Held under the theme “Shaping the Future of Joint Nutrition Action in a Changing World,” RNW26 will bring together governments, UN agencies, civil society, academia and partners to advance more coherent, coordinated and actionable approaches to nutrition.
Building on the inaugural 2024 edition and the 2025 focus on policy coherence, this year’s edition will move the conversation from dialogue to implementation – with a strong emphasis on aligning evidence, policy and financing with country priorities, and accelerating progress across agrifood systems and other relevant sectors.
A dynamic programme of high-level plenaries, thematic sessions and collaborative events will unfold across four days, each focusing on a key dimension of joint action:
- 25 May: Nutrition Evidence and Innovation for Shaping Agrifood Systems Transformation
- 26 May: Aligning Finance for Nutrition Integration
- 27 May: Local Food Solutions for Global Nutrition Impact
- 28 May: Delivering as One for Coherent Nutrition Action
The Week will culminate in a high-level flagship moment on 28 May to mark World Nutrition Day, highlighting collective progress and renewed commitments to advancing nutrition globally.
With exhibitions at FAO Atrium, networking opportunities and a full calendar of complementary events, RNW26 offers a unique platform to connect, share solutions and drive forward more effective, joined-up nutrition action.
