Veysel Memiş, Coordinating Chair of the Mediterranean Exporters’ Association (AKİB), announced that they achieved 1.45 billion dollars in exports in October. He noted that they reached their highest figures in the Iraqi, Russian and US markets in the 10th month of the year and that the strongest increases in exports were achieved in the Moroccan, Belgian and Iraqi markets during this period.

Stating that AKİB’s exports between January and October 2025 reached 13.54 billion dollars and that the annualized export figure as of October had reached 16.6 billion dollars, he said, “For the last two and a half years, we have continued to produce and earn foreign currency for our country, making great sacrifices in a challenging global environment. While economic data does not signal a clear recovery, we continue to look to the future with hope.”
