Türkiye earned 1.86 billion dollars from hazelnut exports in 2023, a regional trade association announced on Friday.
The country exported 283,519 tonnes of hazelnuts last year, down 9.29 percent on a yearly basis, Black Sea Hazelnut and Products Exporters’ Association (KFMIB) said.
On a value basis, the country’s hazelnut exports rose by 6.62 percent to 1.86 billion dollars year-on-year in 2023.
The exports were made to 121 countries.
