Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı announced that they aim to plant 550 million saplings and seeds across Türkiye on National Afforestation Day, November 11th. The Minister noted that 1.3 billion euros in grant support has been provided for youth projects.

Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı said, “We aim to plant 550 million saplings and seeds across the country in one year. In this framework, on National Afforestation Day, November 11th, we will plant saplings in sapling planting areas in 922 districts across all 81 provinces, with all citizens, from 7 to 77, participating.”
