Approximately 3.7 million surveys have been conducted so far as part of the nationwide agricultural census in Türkiye. With ongoing surveys, approximately 90 percent of the work has been completed and results are planned to be announced in the second half of the year.

According to information obtained by an Anatolian Agency (AA) correspondent from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the 8th and most comprehensive general agricultural census in the history of the Republic is continuing in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
As part of the census, a new study was initiated in October of last year to re-examine potential agricultural parcels that could not be registered in the first phase.
The Countdown to the Announcement of Results Has Begun…
Within the scope of the General Agricultural Census Project, it is planned to conduct sample research on different structural issues such as labour force, soil management, animal shelters and fertilizer management, digitalization and technology use, using the comprehensive agricultural enterprise list obtained from the full census phase of the study in March-April of this year as a framework.
