Emiralem Strawberry Festival, organized for the 13th time by the Menemen Municipality with the slogan “Festival in the Taste of Strawberry”, brought together thousands of citizens from Menemen, Izmir and all over Türkiye.
Menemen Deputy Mayor Aydın Pehlivan stated that he was very pleased to come together with hundreds of thousands of citizens at the Strawberry Festival and said, “We have successfully completed another magnificent Emiralem Strawberry Festival. We sold about 30 tonnes of strawberries at our festival, where we hosted more than thousands of people. We brought together our valuable guests and very valuable celebrities with our visitors.”
“Most importantly, we made a significant contribution to the promotion of our fragrant strawberry, which is the labour of our valuable farmers. I would like to thank all my teammates who sincerely work day and night for our festival to be enjoyable and trouble-free. I would also like to thank all my fellow countrymen and our citizens from all over our country who increased our enthusiasm with their participation in our festival,” he added.
While the producers were selling strawberries and products made from strawberries at the stands set up on Emiralem streets, the citizens both shopped and had a pleasant time with the activities held in the festival area. While the workshops set up for children attracted great attention from the little visitors, thousands of people from Menemen district, İzmir and surrounding cities attended the festival. Emiralem strawberry producer, who had the opportunity to meet with the consumer directly at the festival, sold approximately 30 tonnes of strawberries in two days…
