Muhammet Öztürk, Chair of the Aegean Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Products Exporters Association, stated that they represent a wide and rich product range from cereals to pulses, spices to bakery products, oilseeds to vegetable oils, sugary and chocolate products to cat and dog food and that their exports to the USA reached 900 million dollars by the end of 2025, compared to 350 million dollars in 2020.

“Our products are sure to be on your table at dinner, at a special celebration or during a pleasant coffee break. Because we represent the foundation of the kitchen, the building blocks of flavour and the essentials of sweet moments,” said Öztürk.
Pointing out that it is a great source of pride for them that they have strong companies in the Aegean Region and across the country that produce these products to high quality standards, process them in accordance with international norms and export them all over the world, he noted, “The synergy that emerges when Türkiye’s production power meets the dynamic and innovative market of the USA is clearly reflected in export figures. Although confectionery and chocolate products constitute a significant portion of our exports to the USA, the variety of products we offer is much broader.”

“With our Turkish Tastes Project, we aim to make this richness and depth of our product portfolio more visible in the USA market. Our goal is not just to sell products; it is to make the fundamental flavours of Turkish cuisine a permanent fixture on American tables,” he added…
