Emre Uygun to represent Turkish olive and olive oil sector on the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly’s Sectoral Council over the next four years…

At the 33rd General Assembly of the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly—the umbrella organisation representing 160,000 exporters across 27 sectors and 61 exporters’ associations, which have generated 396 billion dollars in foreign exchange for Turkey over the past year—the leadership team set to steer Turkish exports for the next four years was appointed.

Emre Uygun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Aegean Olive and Olive Oil Exporters’ Association (EZZİB) – the umbrella organisation for olive and olive oil exporters in Türkiye – will also represent the olive and olive oil sector on the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly’s Sectoral Council over the next four years.

The Turkish olive sector, which has risen to become the world leader in table olive production and ranks second globally in olive oil production, is working hard to convert its annually increasing olive harvest into added value and to surpass the 1 billion dollar export threshold, whilst EZZİB Chairman Emre Uygun will chart the course for the sector…
