Türkiye completed the 2024/25 export season with a successful performance in dried figs, the fruit of paradise. Foreign exchange earnings from dried fig exports soared by 27 percent in the 2024/25 season, from 290,858,000 dollars to 369,759,000 dollars.
Türkiye surpassed the 300 million dollars threshold for the first time in its history, with 369,759,000 dollars in dried fig export revenue in the 2024/25 season.
When dried fig exports are analyzed by volume, dried fig exports, which were 63,549 tonnes in the 2023/24 season, decreased by 3 percent to 61,621 tonnes in the 2024/25 season.
