Terci: “Leading agricultural products export, cereals, pulses, oilseeds”
Stating that 7.3 billion dollars of cereals, pulses and oil seeds exports comprise the main part of Turkey’s agricultural products export of 18.7 billion dollars in 2020, Mustafa Terci, Chairperson of the Aegean Cereals, Pulses and Oil Seeds and Products Exporters’ Association, said, “There is an increase in the demand for food all over the world.”
Explaining the positive reflections of the surge in demand for food on the exports of cereals, pulses, oil seeds and products sector, Terci added, “While our Association increased its exports by 14 percent in 2020, our exports also rose by 11 percent in the January-April period of 2021.”
“I would like to thank our farmers who knead the soil with their labour, beautify everything touched by their hands, put their labour into production, work actively at every stage of production and congratulate the Farmers’ Day. Thanks to our farmers, we will reach our export targets,” Terci concluded…
