TURKEY’S GRAIN SECTOR GATHERS IN ANTALYA TO DISCUSS THE IMPACTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE…

ANTALYA, Turkey

Representatives of Turkey’s grain sector, which is the largest flour and second largest pasta exporter of the world, gathered in the Turkish Mediterranean resort city of Antalya on Friday to discuss the impacts of climate change and the COVID-19 pandemic on the sector.

The 16th Turkey Grain Congress, organized by Turkish Grain Board and Turkish Flour Industrialists’ Federation, was held under the main theme of “Climate Change and Global Pandemic”.

Industrialists, officials, sector representatives and experts from Turkey and foreign countries held discussions on the sector’s problems and related issues.

The event hosts several panels to discuss hot topics such as climate change’s impact on the sector, grain stocks, and product quality.
