Anchovies, which are also exported from Türkiye as processed products, reached the dinner tables of 22 countries during the first nine months of the year.

According to data compiled by an Anadolu Agency (AA) correspondent from the Eastern Black Sea Exporters Association (DKİB), Türkiye’s anchovy exports recorded at 11,313,687 dollars in value between January and September of the previous year, rose by 20 percent to reach 13,621,885 dollars during the same period this year.
Export volume, which stood at 2,259 tonnes in the first nine months of last year, surged by 80 percent to 4,062 tonnes during the same period this year.
During the January–September period this year, the highest demand for anchovies came from Belgium, France and Ukraine. Anchovies valued at 3,898,479 dollars were exported to Belgium, 3,404,163 dollars to France and 2,027,892 dollars to Ukraine.
Unlike the same period last year, anchovies were also sold to Australia, Portugal, Qatar and Iraq…
