Press release…
The Turkish food sector, which brings the flavours grown in Anatolia—the world’s breadbasket—to every corner of the globe, once again demonstrated its strength in the international market at FOODEX JAPAN 2026 – the 51st International Food and Beverage Fair, the largest food fair in the Far East.

Muhammet Öztürk, Chair of the Aegean Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Processed Products Exporters’ Association, stated that the FOODEX Japan Fair serves as a regional trade hub not only for Japan but also for buyers from South Korea, the US, Canada and Europe.
“The FOODEX Japan Fair provides Turkish companies with an opportunity to establish new business connections and gain a close understanding of the Far East market,” Öztürk said.
Highlighting that Turkish companies have developed products and strategies tailored to the market in line with Japanese consumers’ emphasis on quality and healthy products, Öztürk added, “A wide range of products, from olive oil to pasta and from frozen goods to chocolate, was presented to Japanese and international buyers. We believe we will see the results of these contacts in the coming period.”
