‘We have made a 17 million euros investment in two years’

Emphasising that effective cost management and operational discipline came to the fore in 2025, Veysel Memiş said, “The significant reduction in operating expenses supported profitability. I would like to recall that two years have passed since Tat Gıda was acquired from Koç Holding and we have made a total investment of 17 million euros during this period. The main purpose of these investments is to make Tat Food a strong global brand.”

‘74 percent of turnover came from domestic sales, 26 percent from exports’

Revealing data on Tat Gıda’s financial performance for 2025, Veysel Memiş reported that the company achieved net sales revenue of 8.2 billion TL, with 74 percent of turnover coming from domestic sales and 26 percent from exports. “Thanks to effective cost management and operational discipline, gross profit soared by 51 percent to 1.3 billion TL and that the 32 percent decrease in operating expenses brought operating profit to 647 million TL and EBITDA to 952 million TL. While the ratio of operating expenses to net sales decreased by 5 points compared to the previous year, Tat Food completed 2025 with a net profit of 132 million TL,” he noted.

Referring to the transformation in the company’s business model, he added, “The contract farmer model provided a strategic advantage for Tat Gıda. The company works with 500 farmers and that 50 percent of raw material inputs are sourced through this model. In addition to that digital agriculture applications have increased productivity to 100-110 tonnes per hectare, while production is carried out at three factories in Bursa and Izmir regions.”
