According to a compilation by an Anatolian Agency (AA) correspondent based on data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the country’s exports last year reached a record high of 273,361,210,000 dollars.

During this period, the majority of exports were carried out by sea. The value of exports by ship soared by 5.2 percent compared to the previous year, reaching 153 billion 815 million 860 thousand dollars in 2025. This amount was recorded as 46,218,927,000 dollars in 2024. The share of sea transport in exports was determined to be 56.3 percent last year.
After sea transport, land transport was the most utilised for the country’s exports.
Exports by road reached 87 billion 245 million 831 thousand dollars in 2025, a 1.7 percent increase compared to the previous year. This mode of transportation accounted for 32 percent of the total.

During the period in question, the use of air transport in exports increased in parallel with the rise in foreign sales. In 2025, air export revenues soared by 8.9 percent compared to the same period last year, rising from 5,980,698,000 to 8,276,825,000 dollars…
