Turkish salmon shines in the Far East!

Press release…

As part of its Turkish Salmon UR-GE Project, the Eastern Black Sea Exporters’ Association (DKİB) successfully represented Türkiye for the third time at the China Fisheries & Seafood Expo 2025, one of the world’s largest fishery fairs, with eight participating export companies. Held in Qingdao, People’s Republic of China, from October 29–31, 2025, the fair once again captured the pulse of the global aquaculture industry.

The 28th edition of the fair, held on a massive 54,750-square-metre area, hosted 1,602 exhibitors from 51 countries and served as a meeting point for 42,000 professional visitors from 136 countries. Organized by DKİB, the companies exhibited with booths under the brand “Turkish Salmon from Black Sea,” bringing Turkish Salmon, grown in the cool and fertile waters of the Eastern Black Sea, to the most prestigious buyers in global markets.

Turkish Salmon, no longer just an exported product but an international brand and symbol of quality, was met with great enthusiasm at the fair. Turkish Salmon, distinguished by its freshness, flavour and high production standards, has established itself as a “reliable and sustainable brand” in the Far Eastern market. Companies also showcased various product groups, including fish meal, fish oil, sea snails and fish feed, to international visitors, once again demonstrating the diversity and capacity of the Turkish fisheries sector.

Participating companies emphasized that the promotional and brand visibility efforts conducted by DKİB before and during the fair played a decisive role in the strong interest in their stands. The attention visitors paid to the products displayed under DKİB’s registered trademark, “Turkish Salmon from Black Sea,” clearly demonstrated the prestigious position Turkish Salmon has achieved in international markets.

During the meetings held throughout the fair, strong signals were received that the interest of Chinese and Far Eastern buyers in Turkish Salmon will translate into long-term partnerships…
