Küçükmustafa told an Anatolian Agency (AA) correspondent that they began producing tea from the flowers of the tea plant in 2022.
Noting that they have promoted flower tea at all organised events, Küçükmustafa said, “It’s a new flavour, a new taste. We have introduced it to the Turkish tea sector. We started production with 20 kilograms in 2022 and have reached 50 kilograms in 2025. We are offering our customers the opportunity to taste this tea first-hand.”
Küçükmustafa emphasized that 1 kilogram of tea is obtained after processing 6 kilograms of tea flowers, highlighting that tourists from Gulf countries are particularly interested in this tea.
Küçükmustafa also added that they offer free courses to those who want to produce flower tea, underlining that rainfall should not be heavy for the harvesting process to be productive…
