A Traditional Meat and Meat Products Workshop Will Be Held in Kayseri…

The Kayseri Commodity Exchange will address the sector’s challenges at the Traditional Meat and Meat Products Workshop, to be held from October 23-25. Chairman Recep Bağlamış announced that the workshop will develop solutions on food safety, innovation, and sustainability.

Recep Bağlamış, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kayseri Commodity Exchange (KTB), said at a press conference regarding the three-day Traditional Meat and Meat Products Workshop in Kayseri. “We will address the biggest challenges facing our sector at this workshop,” he said.

Stating that they will seek solutions to the problems of the sector with the workshop, he explained, “Today, as the Kayseri Commodity Exchange, we are gathered in this historic city not only to launch an event, but also to share a vision that will build Anatolia’s food security and future. Kayseri has been the trade centre of the Silk Road, a flavour and production base throughout history. By embracing this heritage, we are taking a giant step to reinforce our city’s leadership in the meat and meat products sector.”

“The Kayseri 2nd Traditional Meat and Meat Products Workshop, which we have organized together with the ORAN Development Agency, is a concrete demonstration of this leadership vision. For three days on October 23-24-25, we will discuss the biggest problems of our sector without hesitation. We will not talk, we will produce solutions. Traceability from Seed to Table; How can we establish a food safety chain at European standards that will not shake consumer confidence? Global Competitiveness; How can we increase Türkiye’s share in meat and meat products exports? How can we deliver Kayseri flavours to all corners of the world?,” he noted.

“Sustainability and The Green Deal: How can we implement animal husbandry and production in the most environmentally friendly way, closest to the goal of zero waste?
