İzmir Commodity Exchange broke new ground in order to facilitate the adaptation of its member companies to electronic commerce methods, to offer new trade opportunities and to contribute to the expansion of their companies abroad.
In this context, the “İzmir Commodity Exchange Trade Portal” was developed in order to announce the requests coming from abroad to the member companies of the Exchange and to deliver their offers to potential customers both at home and abroad or to companies with which they can cooperate.
Making an evaluation on the subject, Işınsu Kestelli, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of İzmir Commodity Exchange, said, “The way of doing business changes all over the world, while it is shaped around e-commerce and trade portals; we, as the management of Izmir Commodity Exchange, the leading institution that has been directing trade for 130 years, continue our efforts to offer new opportunities to our member companies, contribute to their expansion abroad and reach wider masses at home. We are proud to present the Izmir Commodity Exchange Trade Portal, which we developed for this purpose, to the service of all our members, which brings together the demands and offers of domestic and foreign companies in the agricultural sector at a common point.”
Kestelli reminded that the members using the portal will be able to see the domestic and international demands within the system and that they will have the opportunity to deliver the offers of their companies to their customers or business partners both abroad and domestically.
