Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) said they have revolutionized the Turkish agriculture.
Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye has made two important revolutionary projects for Turkish agriculture. First, we have established licensed warehouses. Licensed warehouses will ensure healthy storage of products.”
“Both producers, consumers and industrialists will be protected by licensed warehouses. At the same time, a stock market was needed for the sale of agricultural products to market the products we store,” he added.
“So we established the Turkish Mercantile Exchange (TMEX), here we determine the agricultural market of the whole of Türkiye.
