Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EİB) brought trade counsellors in 26 countries and exporters together in the digital environment during the pandemic period.
Aegean Exporters’ Associations, aiming to provide accurate information to exporters about the course of the Covid-19 epidemic in export markets, changing consumption habits with its transformation into a pandemic and the sectors that shine in exports during the pandemic period, brought the trade counsellors working in 26 countries and exporters in a series of webinar meetings called “The Course of Coronavirus in Our Target Markets”.
In a period whereby travels due to the pandemic can not be done, cancellation of fairs and trade delegations, EİB held 12 webinar meetings in order to set hundreds of exporters up with trade counsellors who represent Turkey in 26 countries.
In the meetings, trade counselors shared the information of economic, social and health measures taken after the covid-19 epidemic and the prominent sectors with our exporters in the countries they work. Afterwards they answered the questions of the exporters.
Jak Eskinazi, Coordinator of the Aegean Exporters’ Associations, said,
“Germany, UK, USA, France, Spain and Italy takes the lead in the Turkey’s and Aegean region’s exports. However along with these countries, the other ones such as China, South Korea, Russia, Japan, Singapore and Philippines where our exporters try to increase their markets, we held fruitful meetings with trade counsellors who represent our country.”
Eskinazi added, “We will continue to bring trade counsellors and exporters together in the upcoming period.”
