Aegean Exporters’ Association (EİB) Board of Organic Products Chairperson Mehmet Ali Işık said that Turkey reached more than 250 product diversity in the organic sector.
Işık noted that they aim to bring this diversity together with importers both in the domestic market and around the world.
Informing that the Turkish organic industry has reached a size of 500 million Euros, Işık said, “Healthy life and nutrition are a rising value throughout the world. There is an increase in organic products after the pandemic. With the portal we will establish, we aim to increase the demand for Turkish organic products and to reach a size of 1 billion Euros for this industry.”
“The portal will reveal the potential of the Turkish organic industry in the first place. Later, this portal can turn into an online marketplace,” Işık added.
