Four cousins, who have been producing Turkish delight for 3 generations in their factories in Kayseri province, exported to 32 countries worth 300 thousand dollars in the first quarter of the year.
The business that has been operating in the region for 75 years exports Turkish delight to countries including the USA, Kenya, China and Australia.
Yavuz Çarşıbaşı, one of the partners of the company, said, “We receive a message and feedback from the country where we send each of our Turkish delight. They say ‘You sent Turkish delight from Kayseri, we are very happy.”
Business Development Director Yavuz Çarşıbaşı, a partner of Çarşıbaşı Süt Mamulleri ve Şekerleme Sanayi (Dairy and Confectionary) Limited Company, also noted that they have continued their profession, which their grandfather started with single boiler manufacturing in 1946, through the “corporate family business” approach as the third generation.
