The foreign trade data of January-July period of 2020 in the Machinery Sector has been announced.
Accordingly, our exports in the agricultural machinery sector in 2020 decreased by 6.9 percent compared to 2019 levels and reached the level of 565 million dollars.
With these data, our industry ranks 5th among 22 sectors in the general machinery export sectors.
In the foreign trade balance, as of June data, the ratio of exports to imports was 251 percent, while agricultural machinery imports increased by 40.1 percent compared to the previous year and reached 203 million dollars.
Again, in this period, total exports in the machinery sector were realized as 9.1 billion dollars, while the change compared to the previous year was -11.9 percent.
The general export value per kilogram is also at the level of 5.5 dollars. In agricultural machinery, the unit value per kg decreased from 4.3 dollars to 4.2 dollars. The country ranking in our exports is listed as Italy, USA, Uzbekistan, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Sudan, Iraq, Algeria, Russia, Bulgaria and Romania.
