Second edition of the ‘Turkish Tastes’ launched in the USA!

Türkiye, the world’s food warehouse, strengthens in the US market with Turkish Tastes…

The second edition of the “Turkish Tastes-TURQUALITY Project” book, supported by the Ministry of Trade with the participation of 6 food exporters’ associations under the roof of the Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EIB), aiming to make Turkish food products more preferred in the USA, the world’s largest food importer with an annual food import of 160 billion dollars, was announced with a big event in the USA.

Türkiye is the homeland and the largest producer of many fruits and vegetables!

Hayrettin Uçak, Chair of the Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association (EYMSİB), said that Türkiye’s climate and geographical characteristics offer a unique richness in terms of diversity and quality for fruit and vegetable production.

“Therefore, our country has a privileged position as the homeland and the largest producer of many fruits and vegetables. The harmonious combination of traditional production techniques and modern operations offers significant advantages to exporters. The promotional activities carried out by Türkiye to ramp up its exports of fruit and vegetable products to the USA emphasise these richness and advantages,” he said.

“According to the latest data, Türkiye’s exports of fruit and vegetable products to the USA soared by 26 percent last year and reached a volume of 343 million dollars. This hike is directly related to the fact that Turkish fruits and vegetables are increasingly in demand in the US market. Türkiye’s ability to quickly adapt to current trends in every market around the world reinforces its success in the US market,” he added…
